Can I Receive Incontinence Products Through New Mexico Medicaid?

New Mexico currently provides incontinence products as one of the medically necessary items under its Medicaid coverage. You may qualify to receive every month a combination of the following:

  • Adult Protective Underwear,
  • Adult Briefs, Disposable Underpads, And
  • Bladder Control Pads.

New Mexico Medicaid will pay for incontinence supplies when prescribed by a physician for use in chronic pathologic conditions or neuromuscular disorders that cause incontinence. Quantity limits are 200 diapers per month or 150 underpads per month.

What Is New Mexico Medicaid?

Centennial Care is the name of the New Mexico Medicaid program.

To be eligible for New Mexico Medicaid, you must be:

  • A resident of the state of New Mexico,
  • A U.S. national, citizen, permanent resident, or legal alien in need of health care/insurance assistance,
  • Whose financial situation would be characterized as low income or meager income.

You must also be one of the following:

  • Pregnant, or
  • Be responsible for a child 18 years of age or younger, or
  • Blind, or
  • Have a disability or a family member in your household with a disability, or
  • Be 65 years of age or older.

Can I Get Incontinence Products Through Active Life Medical Products?
